Hash Code is a team programming competition organised by GDG Edinburgh for students and industry professionals across the universities in Scotland’s capital.
Registration is free of charge and will close on 26th February 2019 at 18:00 CET. You pick your team and programming language, and Google picks an engineering problem for you to solve.
For each round of the competition we’ll present a problem (see past problems here) and your team will write a program that generates a solution. Top scoring teams will win cool Google prizes, because of course you can’t host a programming competition without something to work for!
Join us Google Digital Garage on Wednesday, 1 May 2019 from 15:00-18:00

Google Developer Group Edinburgh Hub
For the Online Qualification Round, your team can participate from anywhere using your own computer and internet connection. To make this round even more exciting, hubs are organised at offices, universities, and cities around the world so that teams can come together to compete side-by-side. Participating from a hub is a great way to meet new people! To compete from a hub, you must be at least 18 years of age and at least the legal age in your country of residence.
